ORIGINAL GERMAN UNIFORM ALBUM SA SS HJ CIGARETTE BOOK

'Deutsche Uniformen Album: SA SS HJ' (Berlin: Sturm Zigaretten Fabrik), 1933. 42pp. 11 x 9.5 in., color, embossed cardboard cover,very fine condition,with the original box. The rarest 'cigarette card' book containing hundreds of artist's impressions of uniforms worn by members of the S.A., SS, and Hitler Youth, daggers, standards, insignia, headgear, etc., with descriptive text. Each page has six cigarette cards in full colour,240 full color pictures, showing the uniforms of the SA(Sturmabteilung, Stormtroopers or Brown-shirts), SS(Schutzstaffel) and HJ(Hitler-Jugend or Hitler Youth).The album is beautifully laid out with the Runic emblems of the organisations, and has a fabulous cover with embossed political eagle/swastika. The uniform detail is considered to be better than what is available within the NSDAP Organisation Books. Between each page a clear film protects the cards.
