With Our Army in Russia - From the San to the Donets River is rare photobook printed in 1942 by Heliogravure Aulard in Paris, France and published by the High-command of the German Wehrmacht.This hardcover book consist of 96 heavily illustrated pages with 149 b/w photos and 7 maps.The photobook shows interesting pictures from the assault on Third Reich on the Soviet Union during operation Barbarossa between June and November 1941 from the Army Group "South".The Army Group "South" successfuly captured Lemberg in 1941 and went further through Uman,Tarnopol,Alexandrija an Pajutino.Pictures include captured cities:Zakopane,  Jaworow, Proskurow, Winniza, Zmerynka, Gaissin, Podwyssokoje, Kirowograd, Dnjepr, Loschkani, Krementschug, Worskla, Poltawa,  Ssachnowschtschina, Artemowsk.Many pictures of the field of battle,captured soviet war prisoners,ukrainian citizens welcoming the german army.Photos include high-ranked german military like Generalfeldmarschall von Brauchitsch,Gerd von Rundstedt and General of Infantry von Briesen.Very good condition,bumpings on cover corners,otherwise clear pages inside and no missing pages.
