Original WWI WW1 Imperial German Naval Sword

Triple-etched blade with producer markings. Gilded brass hilt with scarce folding guard and custom green and red eyes; fine celluloid grip. Scabbard fittings are plated brass in the scarce hammered pattern finish. Leather scabbard in very good condition. The sword is retained in the scabbard by a hinged locking flap. This flap has the original owners name neatly engraved on it; it reads "Joh. Becker". Measurements:90.4 cm. overall., 75 cm. blade.
